HOW "traveling" enhance Leadership


The different experiences of life & work experience in various and constantly changing international environments, have shaped my vision and personality guiding me towards adaptability and diversity of thought.Thanks also to mistakes made while working traveling abroad, I understood and actualized the value of various aptitudes summarized in this below short article:

The experience of different cultures, the deep desire to travel and also living long periods abroad has always led me to find myself in circumstances that I should never have lived "at home", for example the basic ones, the language barriers and different culinary customs..
- AS WELL as team or individuality contrasts, which are certainly created when people work closely together, in short, those situations that could be resolved differently.
AS a leader you are always invited to direct your MODUS OPERANDI
- You need to ADAPT to the most diverse relational and operational situations, whether it is about having to reshape an entire team or to create the appropriate relationship / integration with a new entry.
Living/staying for a long time and integrating abroad, leads you to understand, accept and guide the CHANGE by motivating  and opening your mind.


🔴GOOD LEADERSHIP MEANS CREATING A      COMMUNITY

BEYOND the concept of leadership where the commander directs his army ..
I deeply embrace the concept of leadership from the perspective of collective mental and passionate growth!

The way to influence a group of people who are divided into parallel small groups open to understand and act WITH MOTIVATION AND INTEREST

It happened to me several times during my travels to approach remote destinations and developing countries, and it is here that I realized how essential it was for some communities to be united for the same goal to be achieved periodically.

- And therefore it was evident their acceptance and sharing of a message of value proposed  by the representative of that community, in an actively passionate and meaningful way
- A modality that certainly made everyone else motivated and was  based on the fact that one person does not do everything. ...

I had seen how much commitment and interest there was in that theirs leader , ready to support anyone in his community 'who needed help to support the completion and implementation of their fundamental activities

THE BUILDING OF RELATIONS FOR A COMMON PURPOSE TO STRENGTHEN EFFECTIVENESS

as  well as the responsibility of an experiential travel / destination /hospitality operations implies that visitors and guests are also contributing, which means that everyone's goals and expectations are aligned.

TOGETHER with the team and people who work together to increase strengths by decreasing weak ones by optimizing efficiency
- Each department / area manager, together with their team will be united to support you on your mistake, and therefore I also found it useful to put aside visions of ego, how much to bring together messages of common achievement to highlight the authenticity of the absolute protagonist destination!

🔴REACHING OUTSIDE THE COMFORT ZONE

Being INSIDE a different culture implies creating new relationships and resources.


Wherever I was, I always had to adapt to new personal and professional visions and perspectives to share my idea, passion and motivation for new achievements.


Its more Easy to achieve goals outside of your own comfortable environment ...


Often touristically we are catapulted into unexpected events during a travel or operational activity of hospitality and destination . Situations completely out of our control with moments of inconvenience and emergencies to be managed in a logical and cold way, and where calm and efficiency have helped to support

🔴EXPLORE OPPORTUNITIES IN DIFFERENT CONTEXTS

I often ate abroad in a non national/local restaurants where it remained difficult for me to understand the menus, habits and customs, BUT AT THE SAME TIME, it had become an effective exercise for me to understand the CUSTOMERS and their ATTITUDES

- Living and staying for a long time in different countries and with different nationalities has contributed to daily experiential local moments that have also helped me in professional development opportunities;

And it certainly helped me to welcome DIVERSITY OF THOUGHT with more  appreciation!
- This can be referred for example to the fact that different cultures have their own approach to manage and solve business problems.There can be different ways to implement the same work / mission -

THIS has helped me to strengthen my mindset, generating new ways of thinking and acting..

I BELIEVE that assimilating and embracing a perspective on local life and business in different countries and cultures can be useful to generate and drive thoughts in a more energetic and creative way, letting you adapt to any new changes more quickly and efficiently
- This can help make you react more clearly and differently to the complications that lie ahead

..CERTAINLY LEADING  TO A SINGLE THOUGHT HIGHLIGHTING A BARRIER-FREE CONCEPT IN WHICH HAVING DEVELOPED CULTURAL SENSITIVITY AND BE ABLE TO WORK and COLLABORATE WITH PEOPLE OF OTHER CULTURES.
